We are GROWING! Burnetti, P.A. has been serving the injured people of Florida for over 30 years and is seeking a full time Worker's Compensation paralegal for our Lakeland Office.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $45-65K annually – Based on experience
Essential Job Functions:
- Communicating and corresponding with clients, providers and others in the legal community;
- Maintaining client files;
- Calculate and manage deadlines;
- Review, analyze and summarize case files;
- Review, draft and file legal documents such as discovery responses, motions and other pleadings for attorneys;
- Assisting attorneys with preparation of cases for trial
- Attending trial with attorneys and assisting throughout trial
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
- A minimum of 3 years as a Florida Workers' Compensation Paralegal
- Ability to proficiently prioritize a heavy workload
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understand legal terminology and procedures;
- Critical thinking skills with great attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Experience with Needles (Neos) Case Management software is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not necessary
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma and/or GED Required
- Completion of an Accredited Paralegal program and/or certificate preferred
- Associate's Degree or comparable work experience
