JOB TITLE: Golf Course Ranger
REPORTS TO: Director of Golf

This position requires working weekends and holidays during peak season (May through September), and is a Thursday through Monday schedule (required).
This position is responsible for creating an atmosphere of exceptional service for our Members on the course. The Golf Course Ranger ensures a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience by patrolling the course, maintaining the pace of play, enforcing rules, and assisting golfers.
The Essentials
- Pace of Play: Monitor and encourage a consistent pace of play, addressing slow groups and ensuring efficient course flow.
- Enforcement of Rules: Enforce course rules, golf etiquette, and safety guidelines.
- Customer Service: Provide assistance and information to golfers, addressing their questions and concerns.
- Course Conditions: Monitor course conditions and report maintenance issues or hazards.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between players, employees, and management, relaying information and feedback.
- Safety: Ensure the safety of golfers and other course users, handling emergencies as needed.
- Supplies: Ensure supplies, like flags, water bottles, and cups, are available.
- Assist players with any oncourse problems
- Monitor the course on employee golf day, checking in all attendees.
The Expectations
- Daily interaction with members, guests, and staff.
- Maintain the appearance of the course to keep it clean and organized.
- Work directly with the Caddie Master, golf assistants, and other professional staff to ensure the areas are maintained professionally.
- Ability to multitask in a highvolume atmosphere
- Provide a professional and clean environment for Members

- Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to lift golf bags, boxes, and baskets of golf balls up to 50 lbs.
