JOB TITLE: Assistant Starter
REPORTS TO: Caddie Master
COMPENSATION: Hourly (Non-Exempt Status)
SCHEDULE: 45-50 hours per week. Days and times will vary based on the event schedule and will include some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Who you are:
· You have 3 years of experience as a starter, caddie, or bag room attendant.
· You are a skilled communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent member/customer service orientation.
· You prefer a role that operates outside of 9-to-5 constraints and offers the flexibility of a varied schedule.
· You can work individually as well as with a team.

· Burning Tree Country Club is, first and foremost, a private golf club that places high importance on creating an open and family-oriented environment.
· The club was founded in 1962.
· Our amenities include an 18-hole golf course that hosted US Open Qualifiers and Met PGA events, an 8-lane 25-meter pool with a diving well, Har-Tru tennis courts, a platform tennis complex, and multiple member and event dining options. We also offer active junior programs in golf, tennis, and aquatics, as well as a summer camp.
· We take pride in our daily ala carte service and the first-class events created by our Events & Banquets Team.
· Our Food and beverage department includes various a la carte outlets (indoors and outdoors, i.e., The Grille Room, Founders Bar, Patio, and Salons), catering to all Members' and guests' needs according to established rules and etiquette.
· The Essentials
· Daily interaction with members, guests, and staff
· Maintain the appearance of the Golf operations, carts, and bag area
· Work closely with the golf team and professional staff to ensure the staging area is set up professionally.
· Always be visible to Members
· Directly responsible for ensuring that rental sets are issued, charged, returned, and cleaned.
· Update Point of Sale software daily.

· Ability to multitask in a high-volume atmosphere
· Provide a seamless organizational and clean environment for Members
The Standards
· Previous experience in a similar role (required)
· Bachelor's Degree Preferred. High School Diploma or GED Minimum.
· Computer literacy
· Basic Bookkeeping
· Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with members and staff
· Strong Interpersonal skills
· Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per day
· Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
