JOB TITLE: GOLF ASSISTANT STARTER
POSITION OBJECTIVES:
This position is responsible for managing the golf operation staging area, bag area, schedule, and rounds while creating an atmosphere of unparalleled service for members. This position provides support to the Director of Golf in areas of administration and communications, enabling the Director to oversee the performance of all golf operations and services.
The position plays a key role in creating an environment where our membership and guest satisfaction are the highest priorities, consistent with the philosophy of our club.
This position is for Tuesday through Sunday from the afternoon until the close of operations each day during the golf season.
The Essentials
Daily interaction with members, guests, and staff
Maintain the appearance of the Golf operations, carts, and bag area
Work closely with the golf team and professional staff to ensure the staging area is set up professionally.
Be visible to members at all times
Directly responsible for ensuring that rental sets are issued, charged, returned, and cleaned.
Update Point of Sale software daily.

Ability to multitask in a high volume atmosphere
Provide seamless organizational and clean environment for members
The Standards
Bachelors Degree Preferred. High School Diploma or GED Minimum.
Computer literacy
Basic Bookkeeping
Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with members and staff
Strong Interpersonal skills
Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to lift boxes up to 50lbs.
