JOB TITLE: Snack Bar Supervisor
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Director
COMPENSATION: Hourly (Non-Exempt Status)
SCHEDULE: 40-50 hours per week. Days and times will vary based on the event schedule and will include some nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Snack Bar Supervisor is a vital service position that caters to the food and beverage needs of all members and their guests at our Snack Bar Pool outlet. The Snack Bar Supervisor will ensure the smooth execution of all food and beverage services in accordance with Burning Tree Country Club standards by providing high-quality, service-oriented fast food service.

- Burning Tree Country Club is, first and foremost, a private golf club that places high importance on creating an open and familyoriented environment.
- The club was founded in 1962.
- Our amenities include an 18hole golf course, which has hosted US Open Qualifiers and Met PGA events, an 8lane 25meter pool with a diving well, HarTru tennis courts, a platform tennis complex, and multiple member and event dining options. We have active junior programs in golf, tennis, and aquatics.
- We take pride in our daily à la carte service, as well as our firstclass events, created by our Events & Banquets Team.

The Essentials
- Coaches Snack Bar Attendants on the input and service of food and beverage products as necessary in the Snack Bar. Manages Snack Bar team and holds them to the highest standards of Member service and professional appearance
- Provide prompt and efficient Member service
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage Director and Clubhouse Manager to meet Member requests and elevate service
- Always maintain a professional appearance
- Monitors the cleanliness of service equipment (i.e. tables, chairs, counters, etc.)
- Requisitions food and other necessary supplies (where applicable) from the kitchen. Communicate needs to the Food & Beverage Director
- Check out Snack Bar Attendants before they leave to ensure cleanup and closing procedures
- Complies with applicable alcoholic beverages, fire, and other local/state laws
- Perform other duties as assigned

The Standards
- High School degree or equivalent;
- Minimum 1 to 2 years food service/food preparation work experience in a supervisory role
- Food safety certification preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Strong verbal and written skills to manage all business communications using proper etiquette.

Physical, sensory, and motor demands: While performing the duties of this position, the Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms, and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 Pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Required to work in hot and humid conditions.
