What You'll Do
- Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments while maintaining detailed and organized records.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to streamline processes and resolve issues.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on A/P activity.
- Participate in month-end closing processes and work with the Controller/Accounting team.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Continuously improve systems and processes for better accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills.
- Transportation or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
- A self-starter who takes initiative and finds solutions without needing to be micromanaged.
- A strong communicator who thrives in a team setting and builds solid working relationships.
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
