Pro Shop Attendant

Job Summary
The Pro Shop Attendant plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position involves assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining inventory, and promoting products effectively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail sales and a strong understanding of basic math to manage transactions accurately.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently using the POS system.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed.
• Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items.
• Supervise junior staff members, providing training and support as necessary.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock management.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pro shop area to enhance the shopping experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic math concepts for cash handling and inventory management.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work well in a team environment while also taking initiative when needed.
• Experience in supervising staff is a plus but not mandatory.
• A background in grocery store operations or product demos is beneficial.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
