What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Improvement Specialist position at Burns Engineering?
We are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Burns Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our Business Management System (BMS), aligned with ISO-9001:2015.
Your duties will include leading cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, coordinating and facilitating actions to ensure BMS effectiveness and compliance, and implementing inspection methods.
You will also be responsible for providing guidance to inspectors, monitoring inspection activities, conducting training on procedures, managing audit events, participating in supplier qualification processes, and managing the RMA process for quality-related issues.
To excel in this position, you will need a Bachelor's degree in business and/or engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a quality role at an ISO-9001 manufacturing organization.
Proven knowledge of ISO-9001 and ISO-17025 standards, as well as experience preparing and coordinating internal audits and external audits, are essential requirements.
