- Assist pipefitters with a variety of basic tasks
- Assemble and disassemble objects
- Operate complex equipment and power tools
- Assist pipefitter to select specified types and sizes of pipe
- Assist pipefitter to mount pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceilings

- Perform a variety of duties which may often change
- Work with standards of accuracy
- Repeat tasks of short duration
- Stand or walk for long periods
- Use arms and hands to reach, handle, and manipulate objects

Qualifications

- Technical: Understand and carry out oral instructions, read and carry out simple written instructions, read and carry out complicated written instructions, work at varying heights, read and interpret detail prints and documents, assemble and disassemble objects, operate complex equipment and power tools, operate small equipment and power tools
- Physical: Work in extreme weather conditions, hot, humidity & cold, work in wet, muddy, and slippery conditions, work in cramped quarters/confined space, work where noise level is above 89 decibels
Working Conditions
