Manager of Nursing Administration

Our client, a respected healthcare facility, is seeking a Manager of Nursing Administration to oversee nursing administration operations. Reporting to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, this role manages the Administrative Coordinators, Staffing Office, and Float Unit staffing, including Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Patient Safety Aides.

Key Responsibilities :
Manage performance improvement activities through education, quality control, and strategic planning.Oversee staffing operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization and regulatory compliance.Act as a clinical resource, demonstrating expertise and supporting patient care initiatives.Maintain a professional and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and efficiency.Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental effectiveness.Coordinate with HR on university and vendor contracts related to clinical services.Supervise and schedule staff to maintain adequate coverage while minimizing overtime and external staffing use.Ensure vendor contracts meet competency, performance, and compliance standards.Partner with nursing schools for clinical rotations and student training opportunities.Oversee morgue coordination and patient safety collaboration with ancillary departments.Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives and interdepartmental planningQualifications : Education :
Required : Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)Preferred : Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)Experience :
Required : Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role and 3 years as an Administrative Coordinator or House Supervisor.Preferred : Previous hospital experience.Licenses & Certifications :
Required :Arrhythmia certificationACLS certificationBLS certificationMAB certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)Skills & Abilities :
