The Child Watch Lead plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, engaging, and fun environment for the children of our Burn Boot Camp members. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for creating a positive experience for both children and parents. The Child Watch Lead will work closely with the Director of Child Watch to uphold the highest standards of care, cleanliness, and team development.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director of Child Watch to create an amazing and enriching environment for children.
Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure proper coverage at all times.
Proactively backfill open positions to prevent service disruptions.
Lead and facilitate weekly development meetings for the Child Watch team to promote continuous improvement and team engagement.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Child Watch area, following all sanitation and safety protocols.
Assist in onboarding and training new Child Watch team members.
Communicate effectively with parents to address any concerns and provide exceptional service.
Monitor and enforce safety guidelines to provide a secure environment for all children.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field preferred.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to manage scheduling and staff coordination.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and creating a positive environment.
Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic setting.
