Assembly Line Production Worker
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team on 2nd shift. Experience preferred, but not required! We provide all necessary on the job training. Roles available in assembly, hand and robotic welding, and CNC machining. Qualified applicants will preferrably train on 1st shift (7AM-3:30PM) and then move to 2nd shift (3PM to 11:30PM) with a shift differential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Regularly prepares, inspects, places and positions parts and assemblies
- Follows verbal and written work instructions
- Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Frequently moves boxes and parts weighing up to 40lbs at waist height
- Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands
- Positions self to monitor equipment and access, retrieve, and place parts
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
- Attention to detail necessary to follow quality standards
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
- Keeps accurate records of production quantities and time
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Maintains equipment and tools in good condition, report equipment malfunctions
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Regular attendance required
- All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be able to regularly lift 25lbs and occasionally lift 40lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- CNC operator experience
- Welding experience
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Exposure to loud noises
- Exposure to outdoor temperatures
- Frequently moves boxes and parts weighing up to 40lbs from machines to carts
- Positions self to monitor equipment and access, retrieve, and place parts
