What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Paint Prepper position at Burnside Express Collision?
Job Responsibilities
- Sand, scuff and block sand collision damaged vehicles and parts to prepare vehicle for the refinishing process.
- Mask for and apply primer for the surface to be block sanded to achieve a perfect finish.
- Clean and prep surfaces to be primed or painted.
- Cover vehicles with masking tape, plastic sheeting and paper to avoid overspray and damage to interior or other surfaces where paint should not contact.
- Maintaining a clean work area and supporting the painter in his job functions.
- Maintain a high quality of workmanship to turn out a top quality product and big time customer satisfaction.
- Show up to work on-time every day and work hard every day.
- Work days are Monday - Friday.
