Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Food and Beverage General Manager, the Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to patrons, oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies, and collect money for drinks served.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives orders from patrons and waitstaff.
- Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, bourbon, whiskey, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
- Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of the opening of the bar.
- Maintains the bar and keeps it clean and organized.
- Attractively displays glasses and liquor bottles.
- Keeps bar supplied with snacks.
- Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
- Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.
- Uses proper judgment and, when necessary, refuses service to patrons who are intoxicated or disruptive.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job entails prolonged periods of standing, preparing drinks, and interacting with customers. There is also frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, and produce items.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and stand. The employee is frequently required to reach, bend, stoop, shake, stir, pour, carry, push, and lift objects up to 50 pounds. There is substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers. The employee must be of legal drinking age or older.

This is a part-time position, with a schedule that can vary weekly.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training required.
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
