Position Overview : We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team (6.5 hrs / day). In this role, you will support students with diverse learning needs in a classroom setting. You will work closely with the lead teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes the academic and social growth of all students.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide support for students with varying disabilities, helping them engage with the curriculum.
- Facilitate daily activities and routines, ensuring a safe and structured environment.
- Opportunities to collaborate with therapists and other specialists to support student needs.
