Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our restaurant. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and deliver outstanding customer service will be essential in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and maintain accurate waitlists.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Assist with seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to enhance overall guest satisfaction through excellent hospitality.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both guests and team members.
- A passion for helping others and creating memorable dining experiences is essential.
