We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer in our growing building services team. This role will seeyou technically and creatively challenged on some of the most interesting developments in the US and further afield. Teamwork and a collaborative approach are key to any project at Buro Happold , so your strong communication skills and passion to succeed with others will serve you well.
What will I be doing?
Input to the projects is likely to bevariedbut will include the requirement to :
- Undertake detailed mechanical engineering design.
- Prepare technical schedules.
- Plan andmanageCAD documentation of design work.
- Monitor performance of Technician (as appropriate) .
- Underguidanceof senior staff, represent Buro Happold at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
- Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
- Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service / design decisions and the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
- Mentor and assist Graduate Engineers.
