Position: Logistics Clerk 1 Salary Grade: 3
Purpose: Manage incoming and outgoing shipment of goods, ensuring that the correct items, and their quantities, are accounted for within the ERP system.

Responsibilities: Quantifiable metrics to which a person is held accountable
- Arrive at work and position consistently on time; remain present and engaged the entire assigned shift.
- Able to recognize and document patterns in process and problem solving.

- Ensure counts and measurements agree with paperwork and other requirements.
- Successfully prepare and package parts orders for shipping to customers.
- Receive and distribute goods, verifying quality, quantity, and accuracy.
- Set up freight, create a Bill of Lading, and call in freight collections as required.
- Provide tracking information and required documentation to customers.
- Maintain daily shipping and receiving records including shipping photos.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required.
Essential qualifications and skills
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Appropriate written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and determined to attain goals.
- Documentation of a current drug screen must be provided prior to start date.
- Ability to receive forklift license.
- Must have math skills and ability to utilize various measurement tools.
- Ability to gain working knowledge of ERP system and software.
- General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to learn and navigate the basics of new software.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, and flexible.
- High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
