Front Counter Cashier/Prep

We are seeking a reliable, passionate, and customer-oriented Front End Associate to join our team. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout process for our customers. While inputting food orders into POS, answering the phone, Door Dash orders as well, walk-ins. While expediting and packaging orders. MUST be EFFICIENT, ORGANGIZED, handle PRESSURE and able to MULTI-TASK

Must Have Experience

· Provide excellent customer service to all customers.

· Stocks merchandise cooler to par.

· Be sure merchandise cooler is clean and glass polished daily.

· Light prep work for merchandise cooler along helping kitchen in down time.

· The front walk swept and free of debris.

· Open signs on and off according to business hours.

· Assist in keeping restroom clean and stocked.

· Restock to-go containers and supplies.

· Collect payments by accepting cash, checks or charge payments and make correct change.

· Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of work shifts by following checkout procedures.

· Serving food to guests from the counter or from window as well seated.

· Communicating food orders to kitchen staff.

· Assembling take-out orders.

· Maintain cleanliness standards by local and federal health departments.

· Keeping tables, counters, tableware, utensils.

· Assist in maintaining cleanliness of patio and parking lot as needed.

· Assist in keeping dishes clean

· Carefully handle cutlery and kitchen equipment as well as sanitize after use

Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred
- Basic culinary knowledge is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
