Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Burrell currently has openings available for Certified Peer Mobile Response Specialist in the Columbia and Central Missouri area to provide quality treatment and services in the community for people with behavioral health and substance use disorder conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Share lived experiences of recovery to inspire and support clients
- Describe personal recovery practices and help clients discover what works for them
- Provide support through validation, exploration of community roles, conveying hope, celebrating efforts, and concrete assistance
- Participate in treatment planning with the team and clients
- Engage clients in caring relationships, using interpersonal skills and recovery knowledge
- Assist clients in identifying strengths and personal resources for their recovery
- Respect personal values and culture, tailoring support to each client's recovery process
- Help clients set goals, imagine future possibilities, and function as part of the recovery team
- Develop, maintain, and provide information about community resources
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license and favorable driving record
- Must be a Certified Missouri Peer Specialist
