Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced knowledge of behavioral science principles to support clients in their home and community environment
- Provide supportive educational approaches to promote improved functioning and encourage recovery
- Establish and manage a caseload, coordinating with supervisory staff
- Participate in staffing of clients to identify problems and establish treatment goals
- Provide rapid aid in cases of emotional crisis
- Provide comprehensive follow-up to clients, including missed appointments and conducting outreach
- Serve as back up for Community Support Specialists when necessary
- Engage in committee work, team meetings, and resource share sessions
- Provide mentorship and guidance to assigned Community Support Specialist I
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other human services specialized field of study
- Or, Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and two years of related work experience
- Or, Any four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience
- Or, Associate's of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support
- Or, Four years of qualifying experience delivering services to individuals with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities
Additional Qualifications:
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle
- Must have reliable means of transportation in order to transport clients in personal vehicle
- Proof of valid and current auto insurance is required
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
