- Coach families to increase their knowledge and awareness of their child's needs, building helpful relationships with child and family team members.
- Provide emotional support, connect families with community resources, and facilitate individualized service plans.
- Assist with meeting preparations, participate in staffing for continuity of care, and contribute to individualized service plans.
- Document all services provided according to standards and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
- Facilitate group education sessions, obtain training for professional development, and participate in activities promoting recovery and resilience.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must meet the state qualifications required to obtain the Family Support Provider credential.
- Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, reliable personal transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
- Must have availability to work early evenings some days of the week, as needed, to provide access to families served.
- Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
