Burrell Behavioral Health is currently seeking a dedicated School Based Support Specialist to join our team in Springfield, Missouri. As a School Based Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with school staff and provide on-site intervention for clients enrolled in our program.

***Key Responsibilities***
- Intervention and Collaboration: Provide on-site intervention in area schools for clients enrolled in the program, collaborating closely with school staff to ensure appropriate client care and support.
- Progress Monitoring: Participate in the process of monitoring client progress in treatment programs, tracking successes and challenges to inform future treatment plans and strategies.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop tailored treatment plans for each client, taking into account unique needs, goals, and circumstances to promote optimal recovery and well-being.
- Client Support and Advocacy: Serve as a trusted resource for clients, providing individualized assistance in accessing necessary mental health services and completing daily living tasks, while advocating for their best interests.
- Community Engagement: Connect clients with various community agencies and resources, offering ongoing social, vocational, educational, and recreational support and activities to foster personal growth and independence.

- Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study:

Behavioral Science*

- Work experience in a related human services field may substitute for educational requirements. *Related fields may include direct support such as case management, residential support, developmentally disabled support, vocational rehabilitation, and more.
