What You'll Be Doing :

Strategic Planning :

  • Develop and execute the company's business development strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and potential partners for growth opportunities.

Market and Competitive Analysis :

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
  • Analyze market data to inform strategic decisions and identify new business prospects.
  • Client and Partner Relations :

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts and partnerships that align with company objectives.
  • Business Development Activities :

  • Oversee the development and execution of business proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Lead negotiations to secure new business deals and partnerships.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration :

  • Work closely with other senior leaders ensuring cohesive strategic execution.
  • Provide insights and feedback to internal teams based on market and client interactions.
  • Performance Management and Reporting :

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to your supervisor.
  • Networking and Industry Engagement :

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge and remain informed about best practices and emerging trends.
  • Supervisory Requirements :

  • Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all team members.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department.
  • Actively monitor the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.
  • Involve, as appropriate, all team members to achieve goals.
  • Effectively communicate changes and noteworthy events within the department or company to team members.
  • Handle difficult situations with team members directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual.
  • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.
  • Reinforces a team approach across functions; support and solicit input from team members at all levels with the company.
  • Maintain confidentiality of business information, including Protected Health Information (PHI), as required by HIPAA and company policy.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant business tools.
  • Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
  • Experience and Education Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Six years' experience in similar role required.
  • Master's in Business Administration or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Employment Requirements :

  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse / neglect.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
  • All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
