What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Cleaner position at Burris Solutions Inc.?
This is a part time position that requires the cleaning of 2 sites:
Location 1:
-Cleaned 3 days per week; Monday, Wednesday & Friday after 5:30pm.
Location 2:
-Cleaned 2 days per week; Wednesday & Friday. *schedule at this site depends on the patient schedule.
Each cleaning takes approximately 1.5hrs.
We are looking for a Cleaner to take care of our facility and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. We have several positions available. The position requires commercial cleaning experience and office experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Maintain inventory of consumables, supplies, and chemicals
- Maintain equipment to ensure in proper working condition and cleanliness of the equipment
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Janitorial office cleaning experience
- Ability to read chemical labels and mix solutions properly
- Detail cleaning experience
- Ability to follow a scope and task list
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity
- High school degree
