What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Supervisor position at Burrito Shak?
Burrito Shak is a new restaurant coming to Winterville in Q4 2024 and we are looking to add to build out our store leadership team with 3-4 Shift Supervisors. We are located at 2035 Flower Drive next to the new Lowe's Foods. Our ideal candidate is personable, punctual, and reliable. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus tips and 50% off all meals. This position can be full-time or part-time.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the operation of the store by building burritos, tacos, bowls, etc to customer preference
- Manage a shift of up to 5 team members.
- Inspects and clean food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Seasons, Preps and cooks food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
- Maintain a happy and friendly attitude to help guests feel welcomed at all times.
- Daily closing/opening duties including cleanliness, daily setup, counting the drawer and locking and securing restaurant
