Key Responsibilities :
- Package Review : Analyze construction packages for electrical and instrumentation projects.
- Take-offs : Perform precise take-offs to support project estimation.
- Quote Requests : Obtain quotes for materials, equipment, and services needed for accurate estimates.
- Pre-Bid Site Walks : Participate in pre-bid site walks as required for thorough understanding.
- Estimate Compilation : Compile take-offs into standardized templates and programs to develop work-hour estimates.
- Work Hour Analysis : Evaluate and optimize work hours and crew configurations for efficient project execution.
- Unit Rate Analysis : Adjust unit rates based on project-specific conditions and requirements.
- Equipment Identification : Determine the necessary equipment for the successful completion of the project.
- Execution Planning : Develop initial plans and discuss them with the project manager.
- Proposal Generation : Draft detailed proposals for client review and submission.
- Client Interaction : During the proposal phase, engage with clients to address any questions or concerns.
- Project Handover : Facilitate a comprehensive handover to the construction supervisor, including a detailed estimate explanation.
- Data Utilization : Use job completion data to refine and adjust unit rates, ensuring competitive and accurate estimates.
