Position Summary :
Burrow Global, LLC is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Technician to join our team in Brownsville, Texas. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel on-site by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing safety protocols and requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for all crews in the assigned area.
- Conduct daily safety inspections within your designated area.
- Facilitate effective communication between subcontractors to ensure a cohesive safety culture.
- Perform daily JSA audits to maintain compliance and safety standards.
- Engage continuously in the field to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Create safety observations and track trends to inform proactive safety measures.
- Speak at safety meetings to communicate hazards and safety updates specific to your area.
- Plan and coordinate to facilitate safe and organized work environments.
- Assist subcontractors in identifying and implementing safe methods to perform tasks.
- Communicate observations, trends, and incidents to the Burrow Global Safety (BGS) team.
- Report all injuries and incidents to the Safety Manager immediately.
- Conduct orientations and assist with onboarding processes related to safety protocols.
- Support the Safety Manager in incident and near-miss investigations.
