What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Master Scheduler position at Burrow Global LLC?
Burrow Global has an immediate need for a Field Master Scheduler. The Field Master Scheduler is a subject matter expert (SME) in work package planning, scheduling, and general preparation, for petrochemical or refining industry construction projects. This is a in-plant field position.
The incumbent must have demonstrated experience as Field Master Scheduler utilizing Primavera (P6). This role will provide detailed guidance and support in all aspects of planning and scheduling, for petrochemical construction events.
This role will also standardize scheduling work process in alignment with industry best practice and administer/train on these work processes for all schedulers working on behalf of the organization.
This role will be expected to perform a review of all contractor schedules to evaluate them for progress. This position will take all the schedules offered and roll them up into the master schedule that will drive the capital project construction process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures projects establish credible schedules based on scope, complexity, project development and execution, and would include critical path evaluations, baselining, float and contingency analysis, resources loading, productivity, progress tracking, deviations and corrective actions, evaluation of schedule basis completeness, and connectivity to contractor or turnaround plans or schedules
- Lead schedule optimization reviews, and where needed leads readiness assessments and tracking for all major disciplines of readiness
- Works closely with Cost and Estimating personnel to deliver balance between cost and schedule aspect of project and portfolio management
- Experience with contractor planning and scheduling as well as owner's needs for planning and scheduling, and knowledge for merging these together for success of the project.
Educational Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree with seven or more years of construction scheduling project control experience with a strong background in planning (TA, project, and FEL efforts including decision making and risk management), schedule development, schedule monitoring, progressing and tracking, reporting.
- Advanced Primavera P6 software experience
- Active TWIC Card is required
