Key Responsibilities:

Team Supervision:

• Assign tasks to electricians based on their skills and experience, ensuring efficient project execution.
• Monitor the progress of electrical work and proactively address any challenges.
• Provide on-site technical guidance and support to electricians, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Conduct performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and fostering career growth within the team.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks, reinforcing the importance of safety on-site.
• Investigate and report any electrical safety incidents, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent future occurrences.

Quality Control:

• Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Identify and rectify any errors or defects in electrical work, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with other trades to ensure proper integration of electrical systems.

Material Management:

• Order and manage electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet project deadlines.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring electrical components are stored properly and are readily available for use.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, inspection reports, and electrical drawings.
• Prepare and submit all required electrical permits and paperwork, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, electrical codes, and troubleshooting techniques.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and manage a team of electricians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex electrical issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with project managers, other trades, and clients.
Safety Focus: Deep commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Certifications:
Journeyman Electrician License: Must hold a current Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
OSHA Safety Training: Must have OSHA safety training certification.
