Burrow Global, a leader in engineering and construction services, is looking for a highly skilled Instrument Tube Fitter to join our dynamic team in Beaumont or Pasadena, Texas. If you are an expert in installing, maintaining, and repairing small-diameter tubing systems used for instrumentation and process control, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

Installation :

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately lay out and install instrument tubing systems.
Measure, cut, and thread small-diameter tubing using specialized tools such as tube cutters, benders, and swaging machines.
Assemble tubing sections with fittings, including unions, elbows, tees, and adapters, using methods like brazing, welding, or compression fittings.
Install support structures for tubing runs, including brackets, hangers, and supports to ensure the proper alignment and integrity of the systems.

Maintenance and Repair :

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed tubing systems to ensure optimal functionality.

Repair and replace damaged or faulty tubing, ensuring systems are back up and running with minimal downtime.

Test completed installations for integrity, pressure, and leak prevention.

Collaboration and Compliance :

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of tubing systems within larger projects.

Ensure all installations comply with relevant standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Required Skills and Knowledge :

Technical Skills :

Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, pipe cutters, and other precision instruments.

Strong knowledge of various tubing materials (stainless steel, copper, nylon) and their appropriate joining methods.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

Understanding of pressure, flow dynamics, and instrumentation system requirements.

Physical Abilities :

Dexterity to work with small components and in confined spaces.

Ability to work at heights and in confined areas, such as within plant facilities.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong visual acuity for precise measurements and installations.
