Position Summary:
Burrow Global, LLC is seeking Junior, Mid, and Senior Civil Designers to join the Beaumont office. The Civil Designers will be responsible for preparing civil engineering drawings and documentation related to site development, grading, drainage systems, and other civil works for EPC projects in Oil, Gas, and Chemical industries.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Create and modify civil engineering design drawings, including grading, drainage, site layout, and utility systems.
- Collaborate with civil engineers and other project disciplines to ensure alignment with project goals and specifications.
- Review and revise designs to meet industry standards and client requirements.
- Prepare engineering sketches, details, and specifications for civil construction.
- Use civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit) to create and update designs.
- Perform site visits and assist engineers in field investigations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in designs.
- Participate in the review and approval process for final deliverables.
Education and Qualifications:
Junior Designer:
- Associate’s degree or certification in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in civil design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D software.
- Understanding of civil design principles and local codes.
Mid-Level Designer:
- Associate’s degree or certification in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in civil design, particularly in EPC projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.
- Experience with grading, drainage, and site layout design.
Senior Designer:
- Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- 7 years of experience in civil design, including EPC project work.
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil design software.
- Proven ability to lead design efforts and mentor junior designers.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent drafting and design skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to design specifications.
