Burrow Global has an immediate need for an experienced Construction Project Manager / Superintendent for an industrial facility building renovation project at a petrochemical plant in Pasadena, TX.
The Project Manager will have full responsibility cost, schedule, and project execution of the renovation project. This position will work with approved vendors to provide the materials, equipment and construction services needed to complete the building renovation project.
The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
This incumbent will actively manage the project budgets, schedules, and programs, project communications and documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments. Estimates fees, determines the scope of work and prepares requests for proposals and contracts.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction management from an accredited college or university
- 10 years of architectural design and construction experience of industrial office, warehouse and production facilities used in the petrochemical or oil and gas industries.
Skills needed:
- Proficient in M.S. Project and MS Office applications
- Experience with local and state building codes
- Ability to enforce building standards and codes with construction partners.
- Industrial Construction QC/QA experience
- Excellent leadership attributes to mentor supporting staff
- Exceptional time management, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through ability
