Position Summary :
Burrow Global Engineering is seeking Junior, Mid, and Senior Electrical Engineers to join our team in Beaumont, TX. The successful candidates will actively participate in and lead Conceptual, Feasibility, and Detailed Design activities at all stages of EPC projects, working across a variety of industrial sectors, including Oil, Gas, and Chemicals. These roles require proficiency in electrical design, as well as technical expertise in developing and reviewing engineering deliverables for electrical systems. As part of a design team, engineers will develop and refine engineering packages and lead the preparation of documentation such as Electrical Scopes of Work, Equipment Lists, Panel and Cable Schedules, One Line Diagrams, and more.
Responsibilities / Duties :
- Independently evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to solve engineering problems.
- Participate in and lead the design and development of electrical systems and packages across all stages of projects (Conceptual, Feasibility, and Detailed Design).
- Prepare and review electrical documentation, including Scopes of Work, Load Lists, Equipment Lists, One Line Diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to design teams, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.
- Manage and lead complex electrical design activities, ensuring compliance with industry codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE) and client requirements.
- Perform electrical studies and analysis, such as Arc Flash, Load Flow, and Short-Circuit Studies, using software like SKM or ETAP.
- Develop and review engineering calculations and analysis models for complex assignments.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, security, and environmental regulations (HSSE), both within the company and at client sites.
- Participate in site evaluations, project planning, and coordination with other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, civil, and structural engineers).
- Prepare inquiry and purchase requisitions, bid tabulations, and coordinate vendor inspections.
- Foster client relationships and explore opportunities for repeat business.
- Visit job sites to evaluate conditions and project requirements, providing solutions to any on-site challenges.
- Plan, track, and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and stay within budget.
- Actively contribute to company-wide initiatives, including hazard identification and quality assurance processes.
