Piping Designer – Revit/BIM360 Specialist

Position Summary:
Burrow Global, LLC is seeking an experienced Piping Designer with expertise in Revit and BIM360 for a project in Beaumont, Texas. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in 3D modeling with Revit and a strong understanding of piping design principles. This role will involve collaborating with project teams to design and coordinate piping layouts, ensuring precision and efficiency in the overall system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify detailed 3D models for piping systems using Revit and BIM360.
- Coordinate piping designs with mechanical, electrical, and other systems to avoid clashes and optimize space usage.
- Work with project managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into detailed design models.
- Perform piping layout, equipment placement, and routing while adhering to design standards.
- Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Provide technical support and insight to team members on Revit and BIM360 best practices.
- Travel to the Beaumont project site to support on-site project activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design, with strong proficiency in Revit and BIM360.
- Experience in industrial piping design is a plus, but candidates with commercial Revit experience are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of piping system components, layout principles, and MEP coordination.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, collaborating with multiple disciplines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex design challenges.
- Proficiency in managing and organizing design files and project data within BIM360.
