Position: Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator
The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator conducts the initial consultations with new patients, explaining the treatment options, processes, expectations, and outcomes. This role manages the financial aspects of treatment, including discussing payment plans, verifying insurance benefits, and helping patients understand their financial responsibilities working to ensure that financial arrangements are clear and manageable for patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Verify insurance and benefits for orthodontic treatment to help patient understand the financial responsibilities.
- Coordinate appointments for treatment and follow-up visits and address any patient concerns or complaints, ensuring their experience is positive.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding orthodontic care, including how to maintain oral hygiene with braces or aligners.
- Coordinate with other dental or medical professionals for patient referrals, ensuring a smooth transition for the patient.
- Prepare and present cases to the orthodontist with all relevant information, aiding in treatment decisions.
- Conduct post-treatment follow-ups to gauge patient satisfaction and address any concerns.
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of sales/customer service within the medical, dental, optical industry, or relevant industry experience required.
- Previous orthodontic experience preferred.
