Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, part-time, Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting equipment, goods and materials to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as vans, trucks, or tractor-trailers
- Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure efficient delivery routes
- Drive defensively and adhere to traffic rules and regulations
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks for loading/unloading as needed
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Knowledge of courier and delivery procedures
- Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, Class A CDL License and current medical card required.
