Equipment Maintenance - Recycling Center

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty and industrial equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, balers, compactors, forklifts, and trucks. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to identify and resolve problems promptly, minimizing downtime. Repair and Replacement: Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty or worn-out components, ensuring the equipment's safe and reliable operation. Inspection: Regularly inspect equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections in compliance with company policies. Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, and contribute to a safe working environment for all employees. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Tool and Parts Management: Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory, ensuring that necessary supplies are readily available. Training: Stay current with new equipment technologies and maintenance techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
