Application Production Lead

We have an Application Production Lead position opening at one of our corporate offices in Fontana, CA

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $35.00/HR

Position Summary:

The Application Production Lead supports the Wastec Manager in overseeing, prioritizing, and optimizing tasks and activities within the company's customer information management system (Wastec) to ensure seamless execution of core functions, to include billing, production, rate maintenance, and rate book management.

Essential Functions: 

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to uphold system accuracy, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

· Assist in managing and prioritizing digital and print billing vendor relationships.

· Execute bill presentation functions, including ensuring proper files are sent, invoices are reviewed for accuracy, and approved for release.

· Coordinate billing and invoicing functions, including annual billing schedules and processing billing requests efficiently.

· Perform data input and verification to maintain accurate rates within the system. Support rate changes in Wastec, implementing best practices, and conducting system audits to ensure post-implementation accuracy.

· Manage customer messaging, including statement messages and inserts.

· Ensure all messaging materials undergo proper review and approval.

· Communicate billing-related concerns, issues, and questions clearly with relevant stakeholders.

· Ensure billing materials, including envelopes and invoices, are correctly inventoried and prepared for billing cycles.

· Work with multiple cross-functional groups, including GIS and other departments, to ensure accurate data integration and billing execution.

· Guide team members in executing Wastec-related tasks, providing coaching, training, and support as needed.

· Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables involving all relevant stakeholders.

· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Support monthly billing processes, including availability during nonstandard business hours to ensure timely execution.

· Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 2-3 years of experience in an IT, or Analytics discipline is required.

· Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and strong proficiency in CRM systems.

· Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills and ability to work with minimal direction.

· Working knowledge of the recycling and waste hauling industry preferred.

· PC skills are required with a solid working knowledge of MS-Word, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio.

· Expert working knowledge of MS-Excel and Microsoft Excel Certification is preferred.

· Must be detail oriented to ensure quality and accuracy of work

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT COMPETENCIES:

· Quality Assurance - Experience in formally integrating audit controls into routine processes.

· User Support - Experience in effective communication to system users.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

The job involves indoor work and exposure to in-office elements. There could be exposure to dust, odors and noise occasionally. Flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required to accommodate waste collection schedules. This job requires the ability to sometimes lift, push and pull up to 25 lbs. There is continuous eye/hand coordination, handling, and wrist motion, hearing and smelling. There is also bending, reaching, stretching, standing walking occasionally.
