Burson has an immediate opening for an Assistant Account Executive, Public Relations with a specialty in media relations and account management. This is a terrific opportunity to work with very exciting and renown brands.
This job will involve client management, media relations, content development, analyst relations, and social / digital content strategy. We are looking for candidates with excellent written and oral communication skills, client relationship-building skills, and a passion for media relations who can deliver results. This person must be detailed-oriented, resourceful, and able to multi-task and prioritize under deadlines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support day-to-day account activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
- Assist with the development and execution of integrated communications strategies, including media relations, digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
- Draft and edit press releases, media materials, client reports, and other communications content with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct research on healthcare trends, competitive landscapes, and media opportunities to inform strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrate a passion for all things healthcare - being on the pulse of what's happening in the industry and understanding the implications for our clients
- Monitor media coverage and create press clippings, coverage reports, and performance analytics for client deliverables.
- Coordinate internal team communications, meeting agendas, action items, and timelines to support seamless project management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, participating in calls and meetings, and providing responsive, proactive support.
- Assist with new business development, including researching prospective clients, supporting proposal development, and contributing creative ideas.
- Well-versed in synthesizing information to deliver timely insights

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $35,000 to $75,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
