What You’ll Do
As an Area Manager at Burt Brothers, you will play a key role in overseeing operations, performance, and profitability across multiple store locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple stores to ensure consistency in performance, customer service, and compliance with company policies.
- Analyze key performance metrics, including sales growth, gross profit margin, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction (NPS).
- Implement and enforce adherence to the Burt Brothers TFAB (Tires, Fluids, Alignment, Brakes) business model, ensuring service consistency and excellence.
- Drive continuous process improvement and ensure stores operate efficiently and profitably.
- Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing Store Managers to drive team engagement and results.
- Foster a culture of accountability, recognition, and professional growth through regular coaching and structured leadership engagement.
- Encourage open communication and ensure Store Managers promote a positive and customer-focused team culture.
- Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring all stores follow company safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Lead safety audits and accident investigations, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure stores deliver exceptional customer experiences by setting clear service expectations and monitoring feedback.
- Partner with marketing and operations teams to execute local promotions and community engagement initiatives.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities, ensuring stores maximize revenue and profitability.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, operations, or a related field highly desired.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager in tire and auto service, automotive, or a closely related industry.
- Multi-unit management experience highly desired.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management, sales growth, and operational improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of repair services, parts, and warranty programs, or the ability to quickly learn.
- Ability to analyze performance analytics and KPIs to drive business decisions.
