What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Specialist position at Burt Lake Marina?
Burt Lake Marina is a full-service powersports dealership in Northern Michigan currently hiring a full time parts person. Experience is beneficial but not required. The right candidate will have a customer service background that includes strong computer & communication skills. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and accustomed to working in a team-oriented environment.
This is a full-time position with overtime during our busiest seasons. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday, 8:30 am - 2:00 pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ·
- Assisting walk-in and telephone customers · Quoting, invoicing, and processing of payments
- Shipping and receiving of parts ·
- Fulfilling Service Department parts requests · Placing orders with parts suppliers · Shipping and receiving of parts orders ·
- Perform physical inventory counts · General utilization of a computer-based parts lookup system.
- Assist Service Advisors with parts fulfillment for orders and repair order write-up.
Qualifications and requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is required ·
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record ·
- Excellent oral and written communication skills ·
- Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity ·
- Great attention to detail and sound problem-solving abilities
