Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement processes, tools, and systems to support value capture strategies, enhance revenue productivity, and optimize pricing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create monetization strategies for products, software, and services, and develop value-based pricing models.
- Lead product line optimization, SKU positioning, and channel mix to maximize profitability, market share, and customer loyalty.
- Manage pricing throughout product lifecycles, including the creation of incentives, discounts, and promotions.
- Monitor customer profitability, cost-to-serve, and identify opportunities to improve pricing and margins.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to refine pricing and revenue management processes across the organization.
- Deliver executive presentations on pricing impacts, market trends, and pricing capabilities.
- Recruit, coach, and develop pricing talent while improving team performance.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, data science, finance, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience across two or more of the following areas: marketing, product management, sales strategy, service operations, supply chain, or commercial finance.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, models, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis, finance, and statistics, including the ability to create pricing models and handle large, complex data sets.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Skilled in delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel for in-person collaboration when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or master’s degree in economics, data science, or a related field.
- Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) is a plus.
- 10 years of pricing experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technology industries.
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems and BI dashboard development.
- Familiarity with advanced pricing analytics, algorithmic pricing, and AI/machine learning is desirable.
- Experience with SaaS pricing models and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools (e.g., Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn).
- Competitive Salary: $150,000 base, plus potential incentives.
