What are the responsibilities and job description for the WIRE EDM SPECIALIST position at Burteck?
Looking for an experienced individual to set-up, program, and operate wire EDM machines. Job requirements and responsibilities are as follows:
- Set up and operate the wire EDM machines. Experience with AgieCharmilles machines is a plus
- Write programs from both 2D drawings and solid part models
- Ability to hold .0002" tolerance and accurately inspect his/her own work
- Strong working knowledge of the wire EDM process
- Keep proper maintenance of the machine and troubleshoot issues as needed

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
