Cabinet Designer Drafter
Looking to hire an experienced Cabinetry Designer Drafter for a fast growing, cabinet manufacturing company
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and organized with attention to detail. This role will perform duties such as drawing, designing custom cabinetry and entering new orders
Responsibilities:
· Think creatively to develop cabinetry design that fits customer requirements with the given restrictions of space and budget.
· Measure, draw, design and present cabinetry projects using 20/20, AutoCAD, SketchUp or Cabinet Vision design program.
· Learn/stay up to date on the design and function of our cabinet products, established standards, design guidelines, and procedures.
· Create an estimate using in-house pricing software, based on the design created.
· Email the design and estimate of cabinetry project to the customer within the stipulated period.
· Respond – in a timely manner - to customer’s or sales team’s request for design and estimate revisions request(s).
Requirements:
· 5 years previous cabinet design and sales experience, Internships available
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or SketchUp
· Has a design education background/work experience; able to visualize in 3 dimensions.
· Skilled in using simple mental math.
· Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
Job Type: Part-time, (Possible Full-time : Potential for Commission Sales position)
Salary: $22-$28 hourly,
