Pay starts at $16.00 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities
- Properly crate large bands based on work order and customer requirements
- Utilize table saws, nail guns, tape measures, staple guns, etc. to build crates
- Secure crates for transit
- Ensure appearance of each crate is professional and meets company standards
- Crosstrain to other positions as requested
- Actively participate in LEAN training as requested, provide observations and suggestions, implement continuous improvements, and promote and adhere to safety standards of the company
- Utilize forklifts to load and unload steel safely
- Dispose of scrap according to company standards
- Maintain and track related inventory
- General cleaning of machines and area
- Wear all required PPE
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Speak, read, and write English with ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Apply basic math skills with accuracy (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, etc.)
- Lift 50 pounds and position material above shoulders
- Stand at least 8 hours per shift
- Able and willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
- Must be highly motivated and able to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality
- Work well with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency while exemplifying behavior that upholds company values and standards
- Learn and apply operating systems as needed, including basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Learn how to use and organize applicable tools, such as a table saw, nail gun, staple gun, micrometer, measuring tape, etc.
- Read, understand, and follow detailed instructions, work orders, and specifications while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Able to train and be certified on forklift
- Attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Multi-task effectively under tight deadlines while running multiple machines and efficiently organizing work orders
- Able to schedule daily work requirements while unsupervised in order to meet customer demands
