We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Newberry, SC. This role involves working with advanced machines and tools, sharpening and grinding steel to perfection, and transforming raw steel into razor-sharp edges that power our industry.

Key Accountabilities

• Setting up machines and changing tooling or saw blades to grind/cut steel.
• Using specialized saws or hand tools to achieve precise results.
• Monitoring and maintaining machine performance, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
• Reading industrial knife blueprints to understand complex specifications and requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Must-Have Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Forklift certification preferred, but willing to train.
