We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Fountain Inn, SC. Come and grow with us!
Our Material Handlers safely load and unload material within a manufacturing facility.
Pay range is $18.00-22.00 per hour depending on experience.
How you will make a positive impact :
- Follow instructions
- Adhere to company safety and operating policies, practices, and procedures
- Load and unload material within a manufacturing facility
- Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material
- Use specialized tools
- May use calipers and micrometers, must understand fractions, decimals and weight measurements
- Complete Statistical Process Control Charts (SPCs) for all assignments
- Forklift Certified (or able to become certified)
- General cleaning of machines and area
- Work with a high sense of urgency
- Wear all required PPE
- May be required to provide support and training to others
- Active participation in Lean and Safety Training
- Must cross-train to other positions as requested
- Other duties as assigned.
