Job Summary
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator / Laborer to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate machinery, assist with daily plumbing operations, and help maintain a safe and organized job site. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine operation, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment used in plumbing projects, including pipe-cutting machines, threading machines, and more.
- Assist with the fabrication and preparation of plumbing materials.
- Support plumbers and other crew members with manual labor tasks, such as digging trenches, moving materials, and loading/unloading equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines and equipment.
- Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and building codes.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machine operation, plumbing, or construction labor is preferred.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain plumbing-related machinery and tools.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervision.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and ability to adhere to them.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.01 - $18.55 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
