The Breakdown:
The role of the video editor is to work closely with the Brand Creative and Brand Content teams to deliver final video and audio assets for distribution. The primary function of this role will be to manage incoming and outgoing footage from shoots/events, logging footage, creating montage/social focused edits, prepping/roughing out edits for other editors and completing more narrative complex edits from start to finish based on creative direction/brief. The video editor should have a very strong proficiency with editing and motion graphics software and finalizing edits through color correcting and sound mixing. Additionally, they are comfortable setting up and shooting in various situations (on location, studio shoots, interviews, etc).

What You'll Get to Do:
- Log, and edit video footage and deliver “sampler” edits after shoots
- Manage and organize incoming media and be the point person for all footage related questions
- Ability to edit videos based on creative direction and/or brief
- Version out videos in various durations and specs for different distribution needs
- Compile and deliver footage requests
- Create basic titling animations from flat design files
- Prep and shoot on snow, on location, interviews, and studio shoots
- Manage delivery of final edits for all distribution
- Aid rest of the media department with editing/data related issues – very knowledgeable with latest software, drives, cameras, etc
- 3 years of experience in video editing, motion graphics, sound design, and Color Correction
- Professional level experience in videography
- Ability to manage multiple competing demands
- Proven ability to work, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Experience successfully working with small project teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and creative approach to getting work done
- Solid knowledge of Snowboarding Culture
- Understanding of and ability to work in studio and backcountry settings and everything in between
- This position requires approximately 25% travel, including overnight and international trips. Must be available to work extended hours during events, including weekends and holidays.
- This position is in a typical, stationary office setting. Over 80% of the day will be spent sitting in 1 location.
